Johnson Controls chose TISA to launch their global rebrand, a large-scale conversion project of 461 sites across 37 countries in twelve phases. As part of the project, prior un-resolved issues with dull and non-visually appealing signage had to be addressed.
TISA designers and engineers developed new standards for the Johnson Controls brand and made recommendations to correct the design for the directional and totem signs as well as illumination issues.
We then conducted a through prototype review in the US, Europe, and China to ensure the brand consistency, quality and design exceeded client expectations. Some additional challenges TISA faced during the program were unexpected quick turn high profile locations added into scope.
TISA’s project management and manufacturing teams had to move quickly to complete these sites which also included high-rise locations. Our experienced team ensured the program was completed on time and to a high standard. The Johnson Controls conversion was a success and today the company’s brand logo shines brightly at every site.
TISA engineers were able to rectify the issues with the illumination of Johnson Controls signage, and added that into the sign standards.
